CAP Squadron breaks ground at Arizona Airport

When Arizona State Rep. Jerry Weiers introduced his then 12-year-old daughter to the Civil Air Patrol Cadet program in 1996, his vision of building a permanent meeting place for the program in the state was born. Since then he has used every opportunity to urge community leaders, CAP members, airport managers, city attorneys, and others to bring his vision to reality.
